Bonymaen double for under-15s

A tense 2-1 victory, at Dukefield, ensured that the under-15s completed a first ever league double over Bonymaen and collect their third three-pointer of the season.  Despite being forced to defend for their lives in a frantic final 10 minutes, the hosts could feel pleased with their day's work against lively opponents.

An even first half saw both teams play good football and create several half-chances.  Keeper Nicky Smart was in good form in the Dunvant goal and defence became attack very quickly, on a number of occasions.  On balance, Dunvant deserved to lead at the break and their opportunity came when striker Ben Chalk was felled in the area.  Arwyn Adlam took the responsibility and calmly found the net.

Adlam was again on target, shortly after the break, with a fine strike and it appeared that a comfortable win was on the cards.  However, the visitors rallied late on, scored a goal and were keen to salvage a draw.  However, the yellow and greens held on for an important win which moves them up to fifth in the league table.
