Dunvant stay top
A comfortable 2-0 victory over Gowerton kept the under-14s top of the table. Despite the damp pitch, the Yellow and Greens played some enterprising football and should have taken the lead on several occasions in a positive opening half. Despite being goal-less at the break, the players continued to dominate in the second period and the introduction of several key replacements, and a revised attack-minded formation, eventually led to the breakthrough. Ben Chalk powered in his 13th of the season to ease the tension and Arwyn Adlam doubled the lead to secure all three points. The performance was a big improvement on recent weeks and the margin of victory could have been much bigger if the team had converted their superiority into goals earlier on.
