Under-14s dumped out of West Wales Cup
Dunvant's unbeaten start to the season came to an end in a feisty West Wales Cup match at Dukefield. Plough were forced to play the last 10 minutes with only ten men, after having a man sent off, but were able to cling on to a 3-2 win. The visitors went ahead, early on, but Arwyn Adlam equalised after a fine period of pressure. plough regained the lead and went into the break 3-1 up after scoring with seconds of the first half remaining. Jonathan Bebb was the first to find his way into the referee's notebook, and Dafydd John and Sam Boughey also received yellows for innocuous offences. Plough, however, had four players booked in addition to their dismissal and were lucky to finish the game with 10 men after a series of niggling fouls. Arwyn Adlam scored an excellent second, for the Yellow and Greens but they were unable to find a third to force extra time.
