Youth win again to top table
An impressive 8-1 victory, over Dafen Welfare, elevated the Youth to the top of the WWYL Section A for the first time this season. Three players made their Dunvant debuts, in the match, and all suggested they will make significant contributions.
Sam Knight got things going with a rapid hat-trick and Ben Chalk added a fourth to give the home side a comfortable 4-1 half time lead.
Despite missing several excellent chances, in the second period, the Yellow and Greens added four more goals to clinch the points. Skipper Jonathan Bebb continued his good run of form with the first and Liam Bennett added his fourth of the season. Morgan Lucas, making an impressive debut, chipped in with two fine goals and his fellow new-boys, Dan Sorley and Dave Fligelstone, also caught the eye.
